Returns can be made between 10am - 6pm. Late returns will be charged a fee of R100 per day, up to the full retail value of the item. In the event that we are not in the office, your rental can be left safely hanging on our door in the original garment bag with hanger or with security.

Free Drop-off

Please let us know your approximate return time on the day. If someone else will drop off on your behalf, forward these instructions to them and let us know who will be arriving.

  1. On arrival: use the intercom on the left and dial 31.
  2. Drive up to Block 4.
  3. Park in a visitors parking bay.
  4. Make your way to Unit 31 on the top floor.
  5. Hang the dress on our door hanger with its original hanger and garment bag.

Use Your Own Uber Courier

  1. In the Uber app, choose Courier / Package (Uber Connect).
  2. Set Pickup: [Your address] and Drop-off: Unit 31, 73 Grosvenor Road, Bryanston, JHB, 2191. (Please do NOT search or use “Something Borrowed” in navigation apps. There is another business with a similar name nearby.)
  3. Add notes: "To Something Borrowed. Unit 31, block 4, top floor. Dial 31. To-door delivery, not curbside."
  4. Share the live trip status, pin and driver name with us before arrival.
  5. Hand over the garment to the driver sealed and packed in the original garment bag with original hanger.

NB* Ubers are not allowed for bag rentals.

Pre-Paid Courier (Booked with SB)

If you opted for our courier, you will receive an SMS and/or email when the driver is en route to collect.

Have the garment packed and ready in the original garment bag.

  1. Place garment bag in the provided plastic mailer bag. (If you don't have one or it has been discarded no worries, just ask the courier for another mailer bag)
  2. Customers or a representative must be available at the provided return address for courier collection. If the parcel is not ready or the courier cannot collect on the return day due to client unavailability, this will count as a late return and a R200 per day late fee will apply until the dress is collected.
  3. All personal items must be removed before returning the garment. Lost personal items are held for 14 days before disposal.
